Eugene E. Richardson

Eugene E. Richardson, 93, of Lower Allen Twp., Mechanicsburg, died Monday, October 12th, 2015, at Pinnacle West Shore Hospital, Hampden Twp.
Mr. Richardson retired as a Railroad Signal Maintenance employee for the P.R.R., Conrail and Amtrak. He was a 1939 Graduate of the former John Harris High School, Harrisburg; a WWII Navy Veteran; a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Lemoyne; the U.S.S. Brooklyn Historical Society. Born on November 1st, 1921, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Edward C. and Anna (Parsons) Richardson. Mr. Richardson was the widower of Catharine M. (Portzline) Richardson.
Surviving are two daughters, Cathy A. Richardson of Newark, DE, and Susan R. Kirkland (Ronald) of Mechanicsburg; a grandson, Trevor R. Brown.
Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 24th, at Grace United Methodist Church, 309 Herman Avenue, Lemoyne, with the Rev. John L. Shellenberger Jr. and the Rev. Dr. Gordon Lewis, officiating. Private burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services in the church.
