Eugene R. Shewell

Eugene R. Shewell, 84, of Highland Park, Camp Hill, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 in his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was a retired package driver with United Parcel Service, Harrisburg; a member of Teamsters Local 776, Harrisburg; and a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill.

Eugene was born in York to the late Roy Eugene and Dorothy (Ness) Shewell and was the widower of Ina Iris (Robinson) Shewell. In addition to his wife and parents, Eugene was preceded in death by siblings, Jack Shewell, Lloyd Decker, Russell Decker and Gloria Bressler.

He is survived by his sons, Scott K. Shewell of Mechanicsburg and Steven M. Shewell of Camp Hill; sister Sandy Jones of Camp Hill; granddaughters, Megan Shewell Adamire and husband C.J. and Meredith Shewell; and a great grandson Miles Adamire.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 12, 2018 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Ellen Crawford-True officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to services Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
