Eugene V. "Gene" Joynt

Eugene V. “Gene” Joynt, 86, of Mechanicsburg, died Thursday, September 15, 2022 at UPMC West Shore Hospital.


An Air Force Veteran, he was the President and Founder of the former American Business Printing, Lewisberry. A graduate of the University of Scranton, he was a member of Holy Infant Catholic Church, Manchester, and American Legion Post 945, Highspire. He was an avid golfer and his home course was Valley Green Golf Course, Etters.


He was born April 7, 1936 in Scranton, to the late Eugene Paul and Genevieve Marie (McCann) Joynt.


He is survived by his wife, Mildred Catherine (Clark) Joynt; daughter, Jeanine M. Emery of Mechanicsburg; sons, David M. Joynt (Saphiro) of Havre De Grace, Jeffrey M. Joynt of Etters, and James M. Joynt (Tracy) of Mechanicsburg; brother, Paul A. Joynt of Parma, OH; sister, Ann Marie Mancuso of Oakland, NJ; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.


Visitation will be from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, September 30th at Holy Infant Parish.  A private committal will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.


In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Infant Church, 535 Conewago Creek Road, Manchester, PA 17345
