Evelyn M. Lucas

Evelyn M. (Ditmer) Lucas, 78, of Dillsburg, formerly New Cumberland, died Wednesday August 5, 2015 at Elmcroft Assisted Living, Dillsburg.
She was a retired clerk from IONNI Abstract Company and loved the outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was born September 13, 1936 in Enola to the late Augustus Stimetz and Mae Martha (Grundon) Ditmer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Lucas and sisters, Grace Christian, Pauline Myers, Irene Frownfelter, and Louise Criescinzi.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Daniel) Fetrow of Newberrytown; two grandchildren, Laura (Andrew) Riggs of Red Lion and Brandt R. Fetrow of Etters; siblings, Malvina (Kenneth) Johns of Enola, Augustus Ditmer, Jr. of Harrisburg, and Samuel (Garnet) Ditmer of Marysville; many nieces and nephews and was especially close to her niece Debra (Rob) Kelly of Enola.
Visitation will be held at 9am followed by funeral services at 10am Tuesday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial will follow in East Harrisburg Cemetery, Susquehanna Twp.
