Felice Antonio Torchia, Jr.

Felice Antonio Torchia, Jr., 91, of The Bridges at Bent Creek died Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Holy Spirit Hospital.

An Army Veteran of World War II, he was a retired Elementary School Teacher from West Shore School District. He graduated from the former John Harris High School. He received his Masters of Education from Penn State University and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence. He was a member of St. Theresa Parish and its Knights of Columbus, Council 8921, New Cumberland and Society for the Preservation of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Elsie (Giannelli) Torchia; two sons, Thomas A. Torchia (Winnie) of New Cumberland and Joseph A. Torchia, MD (Lisa) of Hershey; five grandchildren, LeAnne, Susan, Rayna, Julie, and Tony; and five greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9:30 until 10:30am Friday, October 6th at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, PA 17070.
