Felicita Rodriguez

Felicita Rodriguez, 77, of Middletown, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 15, 2024 at home. She was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico to the late Juan Ramon Rodriguez and Severa Medina. Felicita was known for her vibrant spirit and a heart full of warmth. Her love for gardening, sewing, knitting and bird watching filled her days with creativity and care. Felicita found solace and inspiration in the Bible and she enjoyed the comfort of oldie Spanish songs, which often played softly in the background as she went about her day. Her zest for life and her ability to make those around her laugh and feel loved were hallmarks of her personality. She was devoted to her faith and her sense of humor and ability to tell captivating stories made her a beloved figure among her family and friends. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Felicita is survived by her daughters, Diana Ort (Ronald Ort) and Myriam Plaza; three granddaughters, Dana Battistini, Paola Feliciano and Kiniara Plaza; five grandsons, Jancarlos Battistini, Amaury Battistini, Christopher Maldonado, Gabriel Plaza and Luis Rafael Plaza; and three great-grandchildren, Jeyliania Candelaria, William Snyder, and Dianaliz King. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Luis Plaza. 

Services will be held in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, where she will be laid to rest with her family, as her final wish. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are respectfully requested to Diana Ort.
