Flossie L. Stouffer

Flossie Stouffer, 101, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 due to complications from a hip fracture.
She was a retired cashier for the former A & P Grocery Store, Enola; a member of the Capital City Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star; a member of the Willard-Waterman Chapter of the Order of the Amaranth; a member of the Susquehanna Golden Agers and a life member of the Jewish Community Center Senior Adult Club, Harrisburg.
Flossie was born in Indian Springs, MD to the late Hager and Flora (Gerhart) Harr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Maurice Stouffer and three sisters, Clara, Julia and Mary. She is survived by her granddaughter, Judy (Hal) of Elkins Park, PA; a great granddaughter, Nina, of Minneapolis, MN; and her beloved and devoted nephew and nieces and many grand-nieces and nephews and great grand-nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 4 – 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2014 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland followed by a service of sharing and prayer. Burial will be at noon on Friday, July 11, 2014 in Shanktown Cemetery, Big Pool, MD.
