Floyd L. Lenker

August 25, 1930 — December 10, 2019

Floyd L. Lenker, 89, of Camp Hill, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Derry Twp.

He was the retired owner/operator of Floyd Lenker’s Blue Ribbon Meats at the Broad Street Market, Harrisburg and a Korean War Army veteran. Floyd enjoyed gardening and was an avid cook and baker.

Floyd was born in Mifflin Twp., Dauphin County to the late Paul L. and Lottie (Enders) Lenker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Floyd L. Lenker, Jr. and two grandsons, Floyd D. and Glenn E. Hendershot.

He is survived by his daughter Luann Hendershot and husband David of Harrisburg; a brother Robert Lenker of Millersburg; and a granddaughter Nichole Hendershot of Camp Hill.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, December 16, 2019 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp.

Memorial contributions in Floyd’s memory may be made to the National Audubon Society, www.audubon.org.
