Frank J. Karli

Frank J. Karli, Jr. 83 of New Cumberland died Monday, November 30, 2020 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born June 7, 1937 in West Lawn, PA, he was the son of Frank J. Karli, Sr. and Ann Solie Karli, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Patrick Karli.

He graduated in 1955 from Reading Catholic High School and served in the Navy from 1955 to 1959 on the USS Grand Canyon as Electrician Mate Second Class. He retired from AMP, Inc. as a maintenance supervisor after 37 years. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Council 4068. After retirement he spent much time helping friends and relatives with plumbing and electric projects.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Constance (Fields) Karli; sons, Frank III, (Nancy) of Harrisburg, Michael (Elizabeth Grant) of Carlisle, and Thomas (Maryann) of Mechanicsburg; daughter, Joanne Dietz (Walter) of Benton; six grandchildren, Evan, Justin, Lauren and Morgan Karli and Derek and Trevor Dietz; and two step-grandchildren, Nick and Julia Belfonti; sisters, Joan Hiester of Chambersburg and Consilia Karli of Allentown; and brothers, Philip of Cornwall, Dennis of Lancaster, and Gerard of Cornwall.

Private committal services will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg at the convenience of the family.
