Frank L. Misiti Sr., 85, of Fairview Twp., New Cumberland, died Monday, May 6th, 2013 at Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg, Pa.
He retired as the Co-Founder and Vice President of Cumberland Electronics, Inc., Harrisburg; a graduate of John Harris High School; a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII where he served in the United States Fifth Constabulary Regiment in Germany between 1945 and 1947 and was honorably discharged and awarded the Army Occupation Medal and the WWII Victory Medal; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland; Sons of Italy Lodge #2857-Harrisburg; VFW Post 710, Steelton.
Born on August 9, 1927, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Maria Pedulla Misiti.
Surviving are three sons, Dr. Frank L. Misiti Jr. of State College, Joseph M. Misiti of New York, NY, and Gary A. Misiti (Diane) of New Cumberland; two daughters, M. Theresa Alexander of New Cumberland, and Monica Rose Davis of New Cumberland; two brothers, Vincent "Jim" Misiti of Mechanicsburg and Samuel Misiti (Ellen) of Shiremanstown; a sister, Helen Misiti of Mechanicsburg; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 pm on Monday May 13th, 2013 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge Street, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp. Viewing will be held 6 – 8 pm on Sunday, May 12th, 2013 at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1303 Bridge Street, New Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Theresa Parish School Capital Campaign, 1300 Bridge St., New Cumberland, Pa. 17070.
