Gail B. (Hudson) Erwood

Gail B. (Hudson) Erwood, 71, of Fairview Twp., New Cumberland, left Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp. to be with The Lord on Saturday, March 7th, 2015.
She retired as an Employee Benefits Specialist for the PA Turnpike Commission, Highspire, and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Cumberland. Gail had enjoyed cooking, tending to her roses and was a former Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack 63, New Cumberland. She also formerly ran the concession stand for New Cumberland Youth Baseball and was the former operator of the Opossum Lake BMX Track, Carlisle. Born on January 11th, 1944, in Evansville, IN, she was the daughter of the late Mervin O. Jr. and Dorothy (Kissam) Hudson. She was the widow of Carleton R. Erwood and was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles K. Hudson.
Surviving are her sons; Robert C. Erwood, Tustin, CA and Richard C. Erwood (Karen) of Etters; her two grandchildren, Ian Carleton Erwood and Elijah Robert Erwood.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9 – 10 AM at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with a memorial service immediately following. Her pastor, the Rev. Arun Andrews will officiate. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower AllenTwp.
