Gary J. Sheaffer

Gary J. Sheaffer, 52, of Fairview Twp., New Cumberland, died Saturday, November 5, 2016, at West Shore Hospital, Hampden Twp.
He was a Machinist and Quality Control Manager for Capitol Tool and Manufacturing in New Cumberland, for 35 years; a member of the Boulder Woods Country Club Llamas Disc Golf League; a member of the Professional Disc Golf Association; and the Scoreboard Operator at West Shore Stadium for all the home Red Land High School football games. Gary was formerly active in Red Land Little League Baseball and Midget Football leagues and he loved the outdoors. Born on January 8, 1964 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Carl E. and Ruth Ann Gotshall Sheaffer.
Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Patty A. Linn Sheaffer; two sons, Carl J. of Lancaster and Ryan M. (Jessica) of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Cynthia M. Sheaffer of Harrisburg; and his two beloved grandchildren, Lennon and Monroe Sheaffer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 PM on Monday, November 14 at the Susquehanna Club, Ross Ave, New Cumberland. Visitation will be held 2 – 5 PM following the Celebration of Life.
