Gary Lee Drake

Gary Lee Drake, 78 of Newberry Twp., York Haven died Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.

He retired as Manager of Linehaul Operations for ABF Trucking in Carlisle, PA. Gary was a U.S. Army Veteran, past President of the Susquehanna Chapter of the MSSA and an original founding member of the Rock Run Hunting Club, where he served many years as Secretary/Vice President. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors, his beach home and spending time with family whom he loved dearly.

Born on July 25, 1941 in Lewisberry, he was the son of the late Helen C. (McCauley) Drake.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Patsy M. (Wintermyer) Drake; a son, Gregary L. Drake Sr. of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Kimberly A. (Drake) Watts (Steve) of Thompsontown; grandchildren, Gregary L. Drake Jr., Alyssa M. Drake, Steven M. Watts, Spencer L. Watts and Samuel L. Watts; great granddaughter, Oakley K. Drake.


Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. (TBA) officiating. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Newberry Twp.
Viewing will be held 10 – 11AM Monday in the funeral home.
