George Georghalli

“He gave so much to so many and kept nothing for himself.”

George Georghalli, 67, of Fairview Twp., Camp Hill, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 20, 2017.

Born in the Bronx on October 21, 1949, he was the son of the late Andreas and Antonia (Karaviotou) Georghalli.

He was a rock, a mentor, a life line. He worked hard to provide the best life for his family. As the patriarch of his family he lead by example teaching everything he could, giving to anyone who needed, and loving with all that he was. Taking care of everyone around him was his legacy.

George is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jenny (Rivera) Georghalli; his son, Joseph Georghalli; his daughter, Nicole Yee and husband, Ken; his grandson, Xander and granddaughter, Eliana; his brother-in-law, John Rivera; and his god-daughter and niece, Amber Rivera.

He took pride in his work and was honored to serve as a respected and dedicated member of his community as a Pharmacist for over 40 years. An entrepreneur in his early career, he built and operated two pharmacies in New York and New Jersey. He retired from Express Scripts, Mechanicsburg, and was formerly a pharmacist at Kmart and Giant Pharmacy.
