Gerald E. Loy

Gerald E. Loy, 68, of Shermansdale, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in his residence.

He was a retired printer for Strine Printing, York; a 1967 graduate of Susquenita High School, Duncannon; an avid NASCAR and PSU fan; and a model railroad enthusiast and collector.

Gerald was born in Mechanicsburg and was the son of the late Merle E. and Beatrice (Basom) Loy.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn L. (Reynolds) Loy; and three children, Heather Legore of Mechanicsburg, Meagan Manlove of Camp Hill and Jason Walde of East Pennsboro Twp.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gerald’s memory to the SPCA, Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area, 7790 Grayson Road Harrisburg, PA 17111.
