Gertrude R.'Trudie' O'Toole

Gertrude R. Trudie OToole, 101, of Lemoyne and formerly of Harrisburg and Upper Darby, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 in Manor Care, Carlisle.
She was a retired administrative assistant for the U.S. Forestry Service in Upper Darby and a former member of St. Timothy Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill.
Trudie was born in Middlesborough, England to the late David and Margaret (Flynn) Roush and was the widow of Richard James OToole.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Melissa McCord of Mechanicsburg, Joel McCord of Annapolis, MD, Donna Freas of Buena, NJ, Kathy Tyler of Valley Center, CA, Christine Hutchinson of North Palm Beach, FL, Dana Jackson of England, Nancy Sorensen of Stuart, FL and Joseph Hiddeman of Arlington, TX; many great nieces and great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 23, 2013 in St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 130 Nittany Dr. Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 with the Rev. Naomi Sease Carriker officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time in the church. Burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church at the address above.
