Ginger Renee Riland

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ginger Renee Riland, who departed this life on March 18, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on July 15, 1962, in Harrisburg, PA, Ginger was a beloved resident of Mechanicsburg, PA, where she created a warm and welcoming home.

As a dedicated Habilitation Aide at PA Lifesharing in Harrisburg, Ginger devoted her life to caring for others, bringing compassion and warmth to all those she served. She will be fondly remembered for her passion for crafting, her artistic flair for creating beautiful flower arrangements, and her love for gardening and landscaping. An avid animal lover, Ginger cherished the companionship of her two cats and her beloved dog. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, often hosting lively gatherings that showcased her talent for making others feel special. A true social butterfly, her infectious laughter and kind nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Ginger is survived by her son, Brandon Riland, and her cherished grandson, Joseph Booker. Additionally, she leaves behind her dear aunt, Trudy Fox, who will carry her memory in her heart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Riland, mother, Nancy (Kerstetter) Moore, and her father Michael Moore. Ginger Renee Riland will be greatly missed, but her love, grace, and memory will forever inspire those who knew her.
