Glenn Keith Rosborough, 68, of Mechanicsburg, passed peacefully on March 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Arlington, VA, to Lillian (Swencionis) Rowland and the late Gordon T. Rosborough, Glenn’s journey was marked by quiet resilience and a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys.
A graduate of Carlisle High School (Class of 1975) and Harrisburg Area Community College, Glenn built a steadfast career as an electrical technician. He dedicated years to Motorola’s Mt. Holly office, notably contributing to the Hubble Telescope’s quality control process, before joining Flight Control Systems in Carlisle.
Though reserved, Glenn’s spirit shimmered in moments of connection. He faced life’s trials with grace, his happiness a steady undercurrent even when unseen. Glenn shared his joy of tending to his vibrant aquarium with his children, finding balance in nature through Appalachian Trail hikes. His compassionate energy extended to supporting charities via MS-150 cycling tours and organizing Doctors Without Borders fundraisers. In quieter hours, he whittled wood into art or sat in contemplative calm. His gentle presence drew friends effortlessly, even during his later years at Bethany Village.
He leaves behind his children, Andrew of Lewisberry, Zachary (Dezirae) of Dover, and Hannah (Miccah) of Mechanicsburg; his mother, Lillian; siblings Donald, John, Robert, Richard, Sandra, and Sheryl; and countless nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon, and stepfather, Donald J. Rowland.
A celebration of Glenn’s life will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland, with visitation beginning at 9AM and services at 10AM. Burial follows at Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Lewisberry.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
