Grace I. Hursh

Grace I. Hursh, 97, formerly of Womelsdorf, died Thursday, November 28, 2013, at Bethany Village, Lower Allen Twp.
She retired as a Psychiatric Nurse at the Lebanon V.A. Hospital and had also worked as a school nurse, industrial nurse and a nurse supervisor. She received her R.N. from West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh and was a graduate of Lycoming Junior College; a member of Camp Hill United Methodist Church and The Eastern Star. Born on June 27, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Charlotte (Schwab) Smith. She was the widow, after 56 years of marriage, of Clair S. Hursh and was also preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua C. Hursh and a brother, Robert M. Smith.
Surviving are a son, Dennis G. (Yvonne M.) of Middletown and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with Pastor Jon Uhlinger officiating. Private burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
