Harold “Bud” Geedy, Sr., 83, of Dover, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019. Son of the late Glen and Mae (Smith) Geedy, he was born on June 7, 1936 in Port Royal, Juniata County.
Bud was a trucker for most of his life; he most recently drove for Motor Freight Express, York. He was an Army National Guardsman, and in his free time, he was a family man and an outdoorsman. When it came to rifle hunting, small game was his favorite. He also enjoyed a coffee and passing the time at Newberrytown Peddler’s Market, Dover. Bud was an avid bluegrass fan, traveling to different concerts and festivals around the area. In his later years, he was quite enamored with his grand and great-grandchildren and spent as much time with them as possible. Bud put his family above all else.

He’s also survived by two brothers, Harry and James Geedy; and a sister, Mildred Wilson.
