Harold E. Baucum, Jr.

Harold E. Baucum, Jr., 83, of Etters and formerly of Mayfield, KY, died Saturday, March 30, 2013.
He was a retired Sales Associate for Ives Printing, Hollywood, FL and a Korean War Army veteran. He was a member of Eberly’s Mill Church of God, Camp Hill, American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland, and the Rochester Institute of Technology Sports Hall of Fame for basketball.
Harold was born in Wayne County, MI to the late Harold E. and Hurtis (Hamlin) Baucum, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy K. (Peiper) Baucum, sons Harold E. “Ed”, III and Dale W. Baucum, a grandson Jason Edward Baucum and a sister Marlene Hamlin Durant.
He is survived by a son Daryl W. of Santa Clarita, CA; two granddaughters, Jessica and Pattie; and a great granddaughter Paije Anna Baucum.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, April 4, 2013 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. James Moss, Jr., his Pastor officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to service time in the funeral home. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Newberry Twp.
