Harold E. (“Red”, “Pete”) Hollinger, 81, of Lewisberry, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 in his residence.
Red was born in Newberry Twp., the son of the late Elmer and Sarah (Byerts) Hollinger. He was a retired mason with Stoner Brothers Masonry, Camp Hill with more than 63 years of service as a mason and served seven years with the PA Army National Guard. He was a member of the White Rose Motorcycle Club, Jefferson City, PA; enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, fiddling around in his garage, woodworking, and listening to blue Grass and Country music. Red was an incredibly reliable individual; he always kept his word. If there was anything someone needed and he could provide it, he did.
He is survived by his loving wife of more than 62 years, Martha E. (Harro) Hollinger; daughter Trudy Hollinger-Torres of Lewisberry; sisters, Shirley Hughes of York and Diane Davis of York Haven; two granddaughters, Tehya and Catalina Torres; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, January 24, 2022 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with Pastor Ronnie Riggins officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to service time in the funeral home. Burial will be in Tri County Memorial Gardens, Lewisberry.
