Harold L. Rhoades

Harold L. “Dusty” Rhoades, Lt. Col., USAFR, Retired after 35 years, 87, of Camp Hill died Monday, June 3, 2013 at Manor Care Health Services, Camp Hill.
He retired as an Industrial Sales Manager from Ingersol Rand Corporation, Etters.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, West Shore Lodge No. 681, F&AM, Harrisburg Consistory, Zembo Shrine, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Forest 43, a Past President of Camp Hill Lions Club, Capital City Polka Dancers, White Rose Polka Club and life member of American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland. He was a volunteer for Fredericksen Library in Camp Hill. He and his wife loved to travel, enjoyed the beach, family, friends, and polka music.
He was born March 3, 1926 in New Bloomfield to the late James L. and Nellie L (Comp) Rhoades.
He is survived by his wife, Carol A. Golamb Rhoades, his wife of twenty happy years; two sons, Ronald Rhoades (Cathy) of Camp Hill and Gary Rhoades of Lisburn; four step children, Lora Baumgartner (Jim) of Enola, Michelle Murray (Scott) of Lenexa, KS, Eric Dudzinski (Janice) of Elkton, MD, and Jennifer Boyle of Camp Hill; two grandchildren, Shelby Sparrow (Frank) and Brian Rhoades (Nikki); two great-granddaughters, Eli and Julia; eight step grandchildren and a step great-grandson.
Visitation will be held from 10am until the memorial service at 11am Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Inurnment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Columbarium at the convenience of the family.
