Helen Colleen Gill

Helen Colleen Gill, 86, of Mechanicsburg died Monday, November 7, 2016 at West Shore Pinnacle Hospital.

She was retired as Director of Laundry and had been with Holy Spirit Hospital since its inception. She was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Church, Mechanicsburg and NAILM through which she became a Registered Laundry Linen Manager. An avid camper, she enjoyed Mountain Creek Camp Ground in Gardners.

She was born August 19, 1930 in Enola to the late John F. and Mary C. (Cratin) Libhart.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years John H. Gill, Sr.; a daughter, Connie Ready (Walter) of Marysville; two sons, John (Sue) of Duncannon and Joseph of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren, Jennifer Anthony (Keith), Daniel Ready, and Geoff Gill; and two greatgrandchildren, Alex and Kayla Anthony.

Viewing will be from 10am until 10:45am Friday at St. Katharine Drexel Church, Mechanicsburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11am with Father Kenneth G. Smith, Pastor as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
