Herbert C. Shoffner, 66, of Lewisberry died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born January 8, 1952 to the late Norman & Shirley Shoffner.
An Army National Guard veteran and a retired clerk from FedEx Ground; he was previously employed by Honeywell and HADCO. He owned and operated Shoffner Income Tax Service for over forty-five years. He was a member of Lewisberry United Methodist Church, and the National Association of Tax Professionals. He enjoyed woodworking, carpentry and built his family’s home. He also enjoyed going to the movies, music concerts, and baseball games as well as collecting vinyl records, and making memories with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Lesetta J. Shoffner; two sons, Andrew H. (Rebecca Henry) of West Chester, and Adam (Tiffany) of Downingtown; a daughter, Amy Rebecca Shoffner (Jason Votta) of Pittsburgh, eight grandchildren, Mason, Marlena, Josephine, Anthony, Gabrielle, Natalie, William, and Carson; two sisters and four brothers.
Visitation will be Monday December 3rd from 10am to 11am with memorial services to follow at Lewisberry United Methodist Church, 309 Market Street, Lewisberry, PA 17339.
