Herbert G. Rupp, Jr.

Herbert G. Rupp, Jr., 93 of Masonic Villages, Elizabethtown, and formerly of Wormleysburg, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015, at his residence.
He was as an attorney for the Law Offices of Rupp and Meikle, Camp Hill; a WWII Army Veteran; a graduate of John Harris High School, Harrisburg, University of Pennsylvania, and the Dickinson School of Law, Carlisle; a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Carlisle; William S. Snyder Lodge #756 F&A.M, Harrisburg; Harrisburg Consistory, AASR; the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Bar Association; B.P.O.E., West Shore Lodge #2257, Camp Hill. Mr. Rupp was an avid Penn State Football fan. Born on January 25th, 1922, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Herbert G., Sr. and Helen M. (Bowers) Rupp. He was the widower of Virginia Irene (Johnson) Rupp and was also preceded in death by a son, Richard C. Rupp.
Surviving are a son, Robert P. Rupp, Denver, CO; two daughters, Cindy Croman, Mifflintown, and Diane "Dede" Glancey, Camp Hill; five grandchildren.
Grave side services will be held on Thursday, June 25th, at 1 PM in Indiantown Gap Nation Cemetery, East Hanover Twp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church, 1 N. Hanover St, Carlisle, PA 17013.
