Herbert M. "Matt" Gaither

Herbert Matthew “Matt” Gaither, 50, of Philadelphia and formerly of Camp Hill, passed away in his residence in Philadelphia.

Matt was the owner and Master Drum Maker of G Drums, Philadelphia. He was a graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, Camp Hill, attended Kutztown University and was a graduate of Temple University, Tyler School of Fine Arts, Philadelphia. He loved music and his two cats, Lady Bug and Velvet.

Matt was born in Harrisburg, the son of Dr. Herbert Gaither, MD and Kathryn (Eiler) Gaither of Camp Hill.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother Frederic Preston “Chip” Gaither of Mechanicsburg.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
