Jack Joseph Dietrich

Jack Joseph Dietrich, 78, of Dover, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at his home with his family by his side. He was the son of the late Harold J. and Gladys M. (Prowell) Dietrich, born on May 16, 1946, in Etters.

Jack would remain in York County all his life. Jack was a good hardworking man and was self-employed doing masonry and home improvement projects. He was a known stone mason in the area and did a lot of projects with the help of family and friends. Jack loved his wife, family and his old Chevy truck. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping with family and friends.

Surviving is his wife and best friend of 60 years, Drucie L. (Shettle) Dietrich; sons, Jack J. Dietrich II (Rae) of Etters and William "Bill" Dietrich of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Beth L. Dietrich of Dover; and a grandson, Tristan Knepp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters, as well as a daughter-in-law, Judy A. Dietrich.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Jack’s final resting place will be in Salem Church Cemetery, York County.
