Jacqueline Marie Stephens

Jacqueline Marie Stephens, 70, of Etters, died Monday, August 8, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital – York.

She was a 1969 graduate of Millville Senior High School and attended Bloomsburg State College. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Daughters of the American Colonists. An accomplished artist, she enjoyed painting, gardening, spending time outdoors, the beach, and her grandchildren.

She was born October 2, 1951 in Bloomsburg to the late William John and Mary Marlene (Yeigh) Diehl. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Adelyn “Addy” Ivy Socash.

She is survived by her husband, George F. Stephens; children, Jennifer M. Clarke (Sean) of New Cumberland, Gregory J. Stephens of York Haven, and Christina L. Socash of York Haven; siblings, Linda Yerger of Muncy Valley, Kathy Shymansky and Debra Bortel of Danville, and William Diehl (Kim) of Berwick; grandchildren, Sean Cameron Clarke, Amelia Clarke, Samuel Clarke, Rhyan Socash, James Clarke, Grifin Socash, Helena Socash, Autumn Stephens, and Rachel Clarke (Nick Haas); and great-granddaughter, Sophie Haas.

Viewing will be from 10am until funeral services at 11am Monday, August 15th at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial will follow in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Newberry Twp.
