James Thomas Davis, 78, of Carlisle, PA, passed away in the early hours of Monday, June 10, 2024, at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, Baltimore, MD.
Jim was born in Lewistown, PA, on March 9, 1946, to the late Dr. Thomas Davis and the late Annabel Cross Davis. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Debra Jo (Bennett), as well as his second wife, Patty (Clouser).
Jim was a graduate of Kishacoquillas High School and the University of Arkansas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, stationed in North Korea during the Vietnam War. He loved to research military ships, especially from the WWII era. One of Jim’s favorite things to do was travel. He and Patty traveled extensively with Little People of America. Jim was currently employed by Faulkner Automotive Group, and he was a longtime member of Eberly’s Mill Church of God, Camp Hill, PA.
Surviving is his daughter, Tammy Brenizer (Dale) of Lewisberry, PA; three brothers, Jack Davis (Chris) of Lafayette, CO, Mike Davis (Joanie) of Frostburg, MD, and Todd Davis (Julie) of Springfield, MA; one sister, Terri Davis (Ralene) of Gering, NE; numerous nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday, June 17, at Eberly’s Mill Church of God, Camp Hill, PA, with Pastor Anthony Zumbo officiating. A public viewing will take place from 10AM until services begin in the church. Later that afternoon, interment will be in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Belleville, PA at 3PM.
