James H. Horn, 64, of Camp Hill, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Golden Living West Shore, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a former District Manager for Pinkerton Security, Harrisburg, and a former staff member of the Continuing Legal Education Board; a member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, Camp Hill; a Past Exulted Ruler of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, West Shore Lodge # 2257, Camp Hill. Born in Madison, WI, on November 3, 1948, he was the son of Stanley J. and Merle J. (Johnson) Horn.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly J. “B.J.” (Gable) Horn; two sons, James B. of Louisiana and David P. of Utah; a step daughter, Julie R. Cartney of Titusville; two step sons, Nathan J. Ritterpusch of Brooklyn, NY, and Adam L. Ritterpusch of Clear Lake, WI; five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday in Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, with the Rev. D. Evan Houck officiating. A Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks service will be held at 9:30 AM in the parlor of the church. Visitation will be held 10 – 11 AM in the parlor.
