James Hazlett Lindhome

James Hazlett Lindhome, 60, of Camp Hill, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at the Church of God Home in Carlisle, surrounded by his loving family.

He was an Independent Petroleum Landman who worked in the Oil and Gas industry in Pennsylvania and New York State. Prior to this, he was a Contract Carrier Sales Representative for TeleDirect Communications, Los Angeles and Taiwan; Vice President of North American Carrier Sales for Primus Telecommunications, McLean, VA; Senior National Account Manager for U.S. Sprint Communications Company, Overland Park, KS; and a Network Service Manager for U.S. Sprint Communications Company, Overland Park, KS where he began as a contract negotiator. He was a graduate of Mansfield University, Mansfield, PA and attended West Shore Evangelical Free Church.

Jim enjoyed skiing and biking and was a caring, friendly man who went out of his way to get along with everyone. He had a quick wit and a sense of humor that made him good company for family and friends. He loved his family and was dedicated to his wife and sons. He was a man of faith, whose deep trust in God anchored his life and sustained him through his illness.

Jim was born in Kane, PA to the late Richard and Muriel (Hazlett) Lindhome, and he grew up in Coudersport, PA.

He is survived by his wife Sarah (Roth) Lindhome; his sons Peter J. Lindhome and Andrew R. Lindhome; his brother Richard S. Lindhome and his wife Cheryl; his sister Barbara Preston and her husband Alan; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Evon M. Lloyd officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The burial will be at Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
