James Michael "Jamie" Sipe, 27, of Lower Allen Twp., Camp Hill, died Saturday, January 07, 2017, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was a Communication Technician for Dauphin County Department of Public Safety, a Marine Corps veteran of the Gulf War and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Born on September 26, 1989 in East Pennsboro Twp., he was the son of Dennis L. and Sandra A. (Passaniti) Sipe of Camp Hill.
Jamie spent five years serving in the Marine Corps. He loved to spend time outdoors, whether it was boating with his parents, hiking with friends, or hunting with his uncle. The most important thing in his life though was his son, whom he loved more than anything.
In addition to his parents, surviving are his son, Austin D. of Camp Hill; a brother, Sean P. Sipe of Fort Myers, FL; a sister and her husband, Ashley R. and Phillip Malcolm of Camp Hill; his maternal grandmother, Irene H. Passaniti of Clarks Summit; four nephews and a niece and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St., New Cumberland, with the Rev. Samuel Dubois as Celebrant. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be held 5 – 7 PM Wednesday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to The Austin Daniel Trust c/o Law Offices Of Peter J. Russo, P.C. 5006 E. Trindle Road, Suite 203, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
