James L. Blaine

James L. Blaine, 84, of New Cumberland died Sunday, June 13th at The Gardens of West Shore, East Pennsboro Twp.

He retired as an Independent Truck Driver. He enjoyed gardening and took pride in the appearance of his home.

He was born March 6, 1937 in Perry County to the late James L. and Pearl C. (Reeder) Blaine. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Arkon Blaine; daughter, Denise Pinnell; and brother, Davie Blaine.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifteen years, Ruth (Shaffer) Blaine; sons, Kenneth, Jeffrey, and Steve Blaine; daughter, Carolyn Okum; step-son, J.J. Arkon; sister, Dorothy Myers; and several grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 14, 2021 in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
