James M. “Mike” Weaver, 66, of York died Saturday, February 29, 2020 at his home.
A 1971 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School, he was a retired Collision Repairman having last worked at West York Collision Center. He especially enjoyed his work in a custom hot rod shop, custom millwork shop and various auto dealer shops. He was a master craftsman in woodworking and auto painting. His artistry and creativity was apparent in all of his projects. He could fix anything. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and NASCAR.
He was born October 27, 1953 in Harrisburg to the late Paul Vance and Ruth Norma (Ryder) Weaver, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law Raymond Kauffman.
He is survived by his daughter, Carley Michelle Weaver (Adam Chronister) granddaughter Alexis Smith and the mother of his daughter Roxanne E. Weaver of Guerneville, CA; fiancé, Sandra S. Gobat of York and her children Bryon Coulter and Sierra Klein and granddaughters Tylar Coulter and Eisley Klein; siblings Paul V. Weaver, Jr. (Lynette) of Camp Hill, Penny Jo Kauffman of York, Mary Ruth Kovak (John) of Mars, Tina Harbold (David) of Dumas, AR, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced.
