Janet A. Eppley

Janet A. Eppley, 91, of Lewisberry, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at The Woods at Cedar Run, Lower Allen Twp.

She was a retired claims processor with PA Blue Shield and a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisberry and Valley Grange, Lewisberry where she volunteered selling Farm Show Milkshakes at the annual PA State Farm Show in Harrisburg for more than 50 years.

Janet was born in Lisburn, the daughter of the late George and Frances (Brenneman) Bair. In addition to her parents, she was the widow of Howard J. Eppley and was preceded in death by her brother George Bair, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Barry Eppley of Coudersport, Gayle Coder of Lewisberry, Jacob Eppley of Lewisberry and Linda Fuhrmaneck of Carlisle; sisters, Frances Sax of NY, NY, Audrey Gamby of Harrisburg and Brenda Weitzenhoffer of FL; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, December 2, 2021 in Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 863 Lewisberry Rd. Lewisberry, PA 17339 with the Rev. Andrew Fitch, her pastor officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the church. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry.
