Janice M. Hempt

Janice M. Hempt, 60, of York Haven, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015.

She was a medical secretary for Partners in Women’s Healthcare, Harrisburg office; a member of Crosswords Church, Otterbein Campus, Mt. Wolf; and enjoyed reading, baking and gardening.

Janice was born in Waynesboro, PA to the late Edgar and Ethel (Willard) Barnhart.
She is survived by her husband of more than 38 years Robert P. Hempt; a daughter Katie M. Hempt of York Haven; siblings, Dennis Barnhart of Upper Marlboro, MD, Patricia Dunlap of Pensicola, FL and James Barnhart of Philadelphia; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Wayne F. Heberlig, her pastor officiating. Viewing will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
