Jean Luise Denz

Jeanne Luise Denz, 87, of New Cumberland, Fairview Twp. went to Heaven Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.

She earned her RN from Mercy Hospital, Wilkes Barre, PA. An avid doll collector, she enjoyed bowling, bus trips with friends, European travel, cruising, shopping, sewing, and mostly, spending time with grandchildren.

She was born August 8, 1937 in Hazleton to the late Peter and Verna (Maxwell) Blumer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Col. Ernest J. Denz, and siblings, Fred and Norbert Blumer, and Emily Barno.

She is survived by her sons, Michael O’Donnell (Valerie Hite) of Glen Allen, VA and Patrick O’Donnell of Camp Hill; grandchildren, Shannon O’Donnell, Christopher O’Donnell, and Kathleen Walls (Alex); and great-grandchildren, Tailynn, Adalind, and Daniella.

Viewing will be from 10:30 to 11:30am Monday, October 7th at Parthemore Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, New Cumberland.
