Born on January 3, 1924 in Hazelton PA.
On January 19, 2013 Jean passed into her heavenly reward peacefully, surrounded by her loving children at Cumberland Crossings in Carlisle, PA.
Jean was preceded in passing by her husband Major Frank D. Tamanini U.S. Army, whose career she dutifully supported. She was proud to be a loving and supportive Army Wife.
Jean was a long time resident of the Greater Harrisburg Area.
She graduated from Hazelton HS, HACC and the Pennsylvania State University. And she completed a program at Duquesne University in Theology.

Long time Parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church in Harrisburg, PA
Served on Harrisburg School Board 1968-1974
Owned and operated Victorias Candies of Harrisburg at 512 N. Third Street, in the Kline Village and at the Colonial Park Plaza.
Founding Member of Charismatic Renewal Prayer Group in Harrisburg Diocese at Holy Family Catholic Church
Presented Life in the Spirit Seminars for many participants in Central Pennsylvania for more than forty years
Served on the Parish Council at Saint Theresa Catholic Church in New Cumberland PA
Led her Family to the Lord and made sure that her many grand and great-grandchildren knew that Jesus loves them
She is survived by a large and loving family; David Tamanini and his wife Rosemary (Bennett) Tamanini of Harrisburg and their sons Christopher and Kevin and their families, Mary Jean (Tamanini) Dixon and her husband Thomas Dixon of Springfield, Virginia and their children Lisabeth (Dixon) Gold, Brian and Timothy Dixon and their families. Mark Tamanini and his wife Shari (Wiley) Tamanini of New Cumberland and their children Alexander and Gina, Frank Tamanini of Mechanicsburg and his sons Frank and Joseph, Lisa (Tamanini) Hooper and her husband Dean Hooper of Harrisburg and their children Thomas and Emily.
Jean was also preceded in passing by her Parents Paul and Antoinette Esposito, her Brothers Sam, George, Angelo, John, Carmen and Joseph Esposito and her Sister Gloria (Esposito) Moore all of Hazelton.
Visitation will be at Parthemore Funeral Home located at 1303 Bridge Street New Cumberland Thursday, January 24 from 6-8 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Saint Theresas Roman Catholic Church in New Cumberland, PA 17070, with the Rev. Michael McFadden as Celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery 116 S Oak Grove Rd. Harrisburg, PA 17112 on January 25, 2013.
