Jean Lurene Shuff

Jean Lurene Shuff, 91, of Fairview Twp. died Monday, May 02, 2022 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Middlesex Twp.

She was the retired owner and operator of Jean Shuff Beauty Shop, also known as Pine Lane Beauty Shop in Etters for 27 years.

She was a member of New Life Church, New Cumberland for 31 years where she came to faith in Jesus Christ and for many years served in children’s ministry and hospitality.

Jean was a faithful military wife and loving mother. She was always hardworking and dedicated to whatever she put her hand to.

She was born May 10, 1930 in Fairview Twp. to the late John E. and Anna (Yinger) Naugle, Jr. She was the widow of Richard Marlin Shuff.

She is survived by her son, Pastor Michael R. Shuff (Barbara) of Etters; daughters, Kay Hughes (Bruce) of Lewisberry and Barbara K. Krewson of Ocala, FL; brother-in-law, Robert Brothers (Nancy) of Lewisberry; four grandchildren, Nathan Shuff (Connie), Angela Zeller (Scott), Randy Hughes (Linda) and Kevin Hughes (Cathy) and eight great-grandchildren-Adelyn Shuff, Lauryn Shuff, Caleb Shuff, Judson Zeller, Emersyn Zeller, Joseph Zeller and Winston Zeller, Randall Hughes (Jes) and of them, two great, great grandchildren ,Gabriel Hughes and Alex Hughes.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Cross Roads Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
