Jerome “Jerry” F. Bradigan, Jr., 86 of New Cumberland died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Manor Care, Camp Hill.
An Army Veteran he retired from the PA Liquor Control Board and also worked as a paper salesman for Kimberly Clark Corporation in New York City. He was a member of St. Theresa Parish New Cumberland and Honorary Life Member of its Knights of Columbus Council 8921. He was Past Grand Knight at his former Parish Council in Brick, NJ. He was a member of VFW Post 7415 and American Legion Post 143, both of New Cumberland. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and playing cards.
He was born January 29, 1929 in Pittston to the late Jerome F. and Kathleen (Delaney) Bradigan, Sr. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gene.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly J. Bowser Bradigan; two daughters, Barbara Whitley (Ray) of Brick, NJ and Tara Negley of Harrisburg; a son, Seth Pomeroy, II of Harrisburg; a brother, Paul of Mechanicsburg; five grandchildren, Kris, Kelly, Bryan, Joshua, and Jeremy; and seven great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 9:30am until 10:30am Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Committal services will follow at 1pm at Indiantown Gap with Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to the charity of one’s choice.
