On December 1, 2017, heaven received a beautiful new angel as Jewel C. (Frese) Brightbill passed into eternal rest.
She was beloved wife, mother and friend; a member of The Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill; and member for 50 years of the West Shore Country Club where she played with the ladies 18-hole group into her 80’s. She also loved to play bridge and was a member of the Harrisburg Bridge Club. Jewel lived in Camp Hill and, formerly, New Cumberland.
She was born September 14, 1926 in Akron, OH to the late Paul B. and Edith (Wallin) Coudriet. She was the widow of George E. Frese and David E. Brightbill. She was also preceded in death by her brother Robert and son-in-law Albert.
She is survived by five sons, Clark G. Frese of Lewisberry, Curtis E. Frese (Linda) of Doylestown, Mark S. Frese (Patricia) of Dauphin, Craig A. Frese of St Petersburg, FL, and Kent E. Frese (Lisa) of Lewisberry; a daughter, Pamela J. Burridge of New Cumberland; brother, Bernard Coudriet (Jo) of Medina, OH; two sisters, Marcella Judy (Tom) of Cary, NC and Betty Pavlin of Akron, OH; sister-in-law Betty Coudriet of Akron, OH, ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30am until 10:30am Wednesday, December 6th at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St Theresa Church in New Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, Jewel was a dog lover who rescued her beloved Milo, so memorial contributions to your local animal shelter in her name are appreciated.
