Joan G. Singer

Joan G. Singer, 78 of Camp Hill PA was born December 27, 1935, passed peacefully at Pinnacle Health System of Harrisburg Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Saturday May 24, 2014.
Joan was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Good of Harrisburg PA and was preceded in death by a son Donald C. Singer, Jr.
Joan is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Donald C., two loving and caring daughters, Bonnie Carbaugh and husband Dan of Middletown PA and DeDe Murtha and husband Paul of Dillsburg PA. Joan especially loved her three granddaughters, Allison Janosko (Michael), Andrea Biller (Matt) and Lauren Eramo, four step grandchildren, Madelyn Murtha, Jesse Carbaugh, Cassie Carbaugh, Rachel Carbaugh and three very special great grandchildren that she adored and a forth due in October.
Joan was very proud of her family and she loved nature, flowers, fishing, the outdoors, bingo and she had a special passion for cats. Her home in the Poconos was a special place of fond memories with her family.
Joan retired from Pealers Flowers after 17 years of service. She was a former member of The Order of Eastern Star, Areme Chapter 192, a member of the former 5th Street United Methodist Church in Harrisburg, PA and a graduate of William Penn High School Class of 1953, Harrisburg PA.
The Singer family is grateful for the professionalism, compassion and care received from all doctors and staff at the Pinnacle Health System of Harrisburg Hospital and Liberty Dialysis - Camp Hill PA.
Graveside services will be held at twelve noon on Saturday, May 31, 2014 in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp. There will be no viewing or visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the Singer family respectfully requests memorial contributions to be made in Joan’s memory to the Kidney Foundation of Central PA, 1500 Paxton St. Suite 101 Harrisburg, PA 17104.
