JoAnne (McFerren) Fromme, 83, formerly of Camp Hill, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2022, in Portland, ME surrounded by her family.
JoAnne was born in Waynesboro, Franklin County, PA, the daughter of Richard and Dorothea (Lindstrom) McFerren. She was preceded in death by a brother Robert and was the widow of Dr. Kenneth Louis Fromme.
She was a retired Registered Nurse with Homeland Center, Harrisburg and Baltz & Fromme Pediatric Medicine Practice, Camp Hill. JoAnne enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Brian E. Fromme (Kathleen) of Street, MD, Karl A. Fromme of Highland Ranch, CO, and Karen A. Needham of North Yarmouth, ME; two granddaughters, Julia A. Needham, and Anna F. Fromme, and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Camp Hill with the Rev. Neil Sullivan as Celebrant. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to Mass in the church’s gathering place. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp., PA at 1:30pm.
