Joanne L. (Dietz) Marks

Joanne L. (Dietz) Marks, 91, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019 in Carolyn’s House, a service of Hospice of Central PA, Susquehanna Twp.

She was born in Somerset, PA to the late Cloyd and Mabel (Gonder) Dietz. In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her husband A.L. Marks, Jr.

Joanne was a former member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg, a graduate of Somerset High School, Somerset, PA and was a longtime equestrian and profound animal lover.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen S. Marks (Dale Wentzel) of Fleetwood, PA and Jeffrey A. Marks, DPM (wife Casey) of Grantham; grandchildren, Cayleigh Minter (Phillip), Jason Marks (Jennifer) and Joshua Marks (Eva); and great grandchildren, Brighton and Oaklyn Minter.

A Celebration of Joanne’s Life will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at her son’s home, 2726 Mill Road, Grantham.
