John Charles Boyle, III

John C. Boyle, III, 80, formerly of Etters, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025. Born on April 8, 1944, in Harrisburg, he was the son of  the late John C. (Jack) and Eliza Jane (Shupp) Boyle. John was a graduate of Elizabethtown College where he earned his Bachelor's Degree. He then was hired by Penn Dot where he worked in Labor Relations as a Personnel Analyst for 30 years. John was a devoted husband, father, and friend to many. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

John loved cooking, (especially his spaghetti sauce), traveling in his motorhome across the country, exploring new places, and hiking in the great outdoors. John is survived by his wife, Connie (Miller) of 55 years, son John C. Boyle, IV, and partner Sandy Reich, daughter, Stephanie Ferrante and husband Justin. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Jasmine, Samantha, and Sydney, and four great-grandchildren, Ella, Salem, Aleister, and Olive (Miss moo). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Mary Grace Neff.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Parthemore Funeral Home on February 3, 2025, for a visitation at 4:00 PM, followed by the memorial service at 5:00 PM. In keeping with John's wishes, there will be no reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favorite animal rescue or Pennsylvania State Park.
