John W. Bruetsch

John W. Bruetsch, 65, of Enola died Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

He was a retired Logistics Coordinator from Veritiv Corporation, Camp Hill.  He previously worked at Konhaus Farms, Harrisburg Paper and xpedx.  He served as Chief Public Information Officer for East Pennsboro Twp. and Cumberland County and served as Treasurer for Pennsylvania National Fire Museum.  

John loved photography, helping others, along with the fire service and watching the Notre Dame “Fighting Irish” football. He was a volunteer firefighter for over fifty years starting at the age of thirteen.

He was born March 30, 1959 in Harrisburg to the late Harold L. and Jean B. (Brown) Bruetsch.  He was also preceded in death by his brother Robert.

He is survived by his wife, Julie E. (Korab) Bruetsch; sons, Ryan Bruetsch of Texas and Michael J. Bruetsch of Honey Grove; granddaughter, Hayden; siblings, Rick A. Bruetsch (Julieanne) and Karen Blazina both of Mechanicsburg; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, June 13th from 4:30 to 8:30pm at Enola Sportsmen’s Association, 290 Pine Hill Rd, Exd., Enola, PA 17025.
