John H. 'Papa Jack' Mcredmond, Jr.

John H. Papa Jack McRedmond, Jr., 90, formerly of New Cumberland, PA and Old Bethpage, NY, died Saturday, December 15, 2012 in Thompson House Nursing Home, Hyde Park, NY.
He was a retired Pharmacist for Eckerd Drugs, Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA and was a graduate of St. Johns University School of Pharmacy. Jack was a member of St. Theresas Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer and had a great sense of humor.
Jack was born in the Bronx, NY to the late John H. McRedmond, Sr., D.D.S. and Elizabeth Catherine (Smith) McRedmond. He was the widower of Susanna Marie (deSeve) McRedmond. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son James A. McRedmond.
He is survived by his three sons, John H. McRedmond, III of Fort Mill, SC, Thomas J. McRedmond of East Islip, NY and Kevin P. McRedmond, M.D. of Chapin, SC; two daughters, Elizabeth M. Krempasky of New Cumberland and Kathleen M. Fisher of Hyde Park, NY; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great- grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday, December 22, 2012 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland, PA 17070 with the Rev. J. Michael McFadden as Celebrant. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry, PA.
Viewing will be from 6-8 pm on Friday evening with a Scripture Service at 7:45 pm in Parthemore Funeral Home Cremation Services, 1303 Bridge St. New Cumberland, PA.
