John M. Hogan, Jr.

John M. Hogan, Jr., 68 of New Cumberland passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 11, 2013 at Holy Spirit Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a retired construction foreman from Handwerk Contractors and previously worked for Kimbob, Inc. He was a member of Cathedral Parish of St. Patrick, Harrisburg.
He was born October 21, 1945 in Fannettsburg to the late John M. Sr. and Dorothy E. (Little) Hogan. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Boggs and four brothers, Jack, Samuel, Joseph, and Jay.
He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Mammola Hogan; two daughters, Carolyn M. Simpson (Kirk) of Brogue and Erin M. Hogan of Philadelphia; a son, John M., III of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Bonnie Walmer (Jay) of Elizabethtown; two brothers, William (Kitty) of Elizabethtown and Barry, Sr. (Gwen) of York Springs; and a grandson, Emmett Simpson.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 10am immediately followed by memorial services at 11am at Parthemore Funeral Home, Inc., New Cumberland with Rev. John Cyriac officiating. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.
