John R. Resetar, 84, of Enola died Friday, January 11, 2013 at Holy Spirit Hospital.
A WWII Army veteran, he was the retired Federal Program Coordinator from the Pennsylvania Department of Education. He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, Camp Hill. He was a graduate of Lock Haven State Teachers College and received his Masters from Temple University. He also attended Penn State, West Chester, Wilkes College, and St. Bonaventure. He was an avid golfer having served as a marshal at Armitage Golf Course for thirteen years and learned to ski at the age of fifty.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary A. (Severino) Resetar; a son, Gregory A. of Enola; two daughters, Michelle A. Morelli (Ken) of Charleston, SC and Amy J. Kreider (Bob) of Landisville ; a sister, Pearl D. Taylor of Saugerties, NY; and seven grandchildren, Alexandria, Tyler, Evan, Trent, Brennan, Rob, and Mike.
Visitation will be from 10:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am Wednesday at Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
